Optimal Estimation for Networked Control Systems with Intermittent Inputs without Acknowledgement

چکیده
This paper investigates the optimal estimation problem for networked control systems, where the control packets are randomly dropped without acknowledgement to the estimator. Most existing results for this setup are concerned with the design of controller, while the optimal estimation and its performance evaluation have not been fully studied. This paper shows, unlike many other cases such as intermittent observations or TCP-like systems, the system state follows a Gaussian mixture distribution with exponentially increasing terms. The optimal estimation is obtained by Gaussian sum filtering, while the computation is timeconsuming. By constructing an auxiliary estimator, a fast and stable filtering algorithm is proposed to improve computational efficiency.

Stabilization of Networked Control Systems with Variable Delays and Saturating Inputs
In this paper, improved conditions for the synthesis of static state-feedback controller are derived to stabilize networked control systems (NCSs) subject to actuator saturation. Both of the data packet latency and dropout which deteriorate the performance of the closed-loop system are considered in the NCS model via variable delays. Two different techniques are employed to incorporate actuator...
متن کاملInput reconstruction for networked control systems subject to deception attacks and data losses on control signals
State estimation of stochastic discrete-time linear systems subject to unknown inputs or constant biases has been widely studied but no work has been dedicated to the case where a disturbance switches between unknown input and constant bias. We show that such disturbance can affect a networked control system subject to deception attacks and data losses on the control signals transmitted by the ...
متن کاملMarkovian Delay Prediction-Based Control of Networked Systems
A new Markov-based method for real time prediction of network transmission time delays is introduced. The method considers a Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) neural model for the transmission network, where the number of neurons in the input layer is minimized so that the required calculations are reduced and the method can be implemented in the real-time. For this purpose, the Markov process order...
متن کاملOptimal Sequence-Based Control and Estimation of Networked Linear Systems
In this paper, a unified approach to sequence-based control and estimation of linear networked systems with multiple sensors is proposed. Time delays and data losses in the controller-actuatorchannel are compensated by sending sequences of control inputs. The sequence-based design paradigm is further extended to the sensor-controller-channels without increasing the load of the network. In this ...
متن کاملDesigninga Neuro-Sliding Mode Controller for Networked Control Systems with Packet Dropout
This paper addresses control design in networked control system by considering stochastic packet dropouts in the forward path of the control loop. The packet dropouts are modelled by mutually independent stochastic variables satisfying Bernoulli binary distribution. A sliding mode controller is utilized to overcome the adverse influences of stochastic packet dropouts in networked control system...
